Selected Materials - My own creations

I am not particularly skilled with my hands, but I tried to do my best.

On the fourth class, to practice the song "Roombaroom" by Pinkfong Songs, I made the monsters on big pieces of coloured paper.

                                           Look at them!

For the last class, I prepared (again, I am not the skilled one in the family) houses by sticking ice cream sticks, so the students could draw their families and keep a "souvenir" from our time studying English.

Have a look at the finished works!

Selected materials - Images

Many images were used in the classes.
On the first class, this house was in a poster for the students to stick some furniture, and on the third class a fuller house (with a lot more furniture) was used for the students to colour and to stick the names of the rooms.

On the second class, students had to bring different images of the rooms of the house, to put on the correct column on the table. We did it on two posters, because they were a lot!!

On the fifth lesson, after working with the song "Roombaroom" by Pinkfong Songs, we did a listening task using different images for the students to choose the correct room.

Selected Materials - Book

On the fifth and sixth class, we worked with Mr. Stretch's House, a book taken from ESL Kids Stuff.
As I read it quickly at the very end of the fifth class and the students were absolutely enthusiastic about the story of this man who could stretch his body all through the house, we decided that the following class we were going to read it again and work on it.

Selected Materials - Videos

My classes had a routine, we always started with a Hello Song (taken from the Singing Walrus).

Also, we had a Goodbye Song (taken from Super Simple Songs) for students to know that the class was finishing.

We worked with a song on the fourth lesson to continue with the House vocabulary and to add Family vocabulary, too. The students were really excited about this song (taken from Pinkfong Songs) and they even repeated it after the class, as it is short, quick and easy to learn.
